Origin : Peru
Californian Pepper essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the berries of the evergreen Peruvian pepper tree. It is cultivated in South America, Mexico, Africa, the Mediterranean and California. The essential oil is produced in Spain and Mexico.
Schinus molle essential oil has a warm, peppery fragrance and blends well with spice and camphor-like essential oils. It is antiseptic, antibacterial and antiviral.
In skin care preparations schinus molle essential oil is used for chilblains and in massage blends/creams for arthritis, rheumatism, muscular pain, sprains and stiffness.
