Saffron, botanical name crocus sativus, is the most expensive spice in the world. Derived from the dried stigmas of the purple saffron crocus, it takes anything from 70,000 to 250,000 flowers to make one pound of saffron. Moreover, the flowers have to be individually hand-picked in the autumn when fully open.

This rare Attar Oil contains pure Saffron which has been blended with expensive Indian Sandalwood to produce a beautiful Saffron Attar.

Attar is a Persian word meaning "fragrance, scent, or essence." We use the term Attar because both the manufacture and application of oils that we supply belongs to this East Indian and Persian tradition.

This Dehnul Oud attar is a pleasing woody masculine fragrance. It is made from natural agarwood. Oudh/Aloeswood derived from an Agarwood tree . Aloeswood Oil is the most expensive oil in the world said to worth more by weight than 24 carat gold due to it being scarce and the hundreds of years it takes for the resin to form from mold on the tree.

Dehnul Oud is the epitome of the classic Oudh fragrance. This Oud is a 100% Indian oud. It possesses a deep, earthy, musky, and potent aroma. It is the perfume of the mystics, the wise and the aware. It is a complex aroma with many nuances, deep and ethereal.

It is recommended by experienced practitioners for providing motivation and devotion to meditation.
It brings communication with the transcendent, refreshes the mind and body, takes away exhaustion, removes impurities, expels negative energies, brings alertness, relieves anxiety, invokes a sense of strength and peace, creating natural order in your sacred living areas and it is also a companion in solitude.

History :

The odour of agarwood is complex and pleasing, with few or no similar natural analogues. As a result, agarwood and its essential oil gained great cultural and religious significance in ancient civilizations around the world. In as early as the 3rd century, the chronicleNan zhou yi wu zhi (Strange things from the South) written by Wa Zhen of the Eastern Wu Dynasty mentioned agarwood produced in the Rinan commandery, now Central Vietnam, and how people collected it in the mountains.

Cautions:

Always dilute to 5% or less before using on the skin.Skin test all products before using. Apply a small amount, about a drop or less, to the skin on your inner arm. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs. Keep all essential oils, perfume oils and fragrance products away from eyes and mucous membranes. If any oil gets in the eye rinse with full fat milk. If stinging continues seek medical advice.

Bakul Attar is made by using Hydro Distillation of Bakul (Maulshri) Flowers into Sandalwood Oil.

Mukhalat is an Arabian word which means 'the blend of many flower oils'.This is an authentic  Mukhalat Attar prepared in the traditional way in India and is a mixture of different flower oils with a saffron top note. It has a subtle and exiting floral nature which is hard to describe.

This is a rare & high quality Musk Amber Attar/perfume traditionally made in India. It has a top note of Musk ,White Amber and Ambergris in pure Agarwood Oil Assam and Sandalwood Oil (Santalum album). It has a sweet earthy complex fragrance that is sensuous , stimulating and calming all at the same time.

Authentic Musk Amber Attar @5% in Jojoba so can be used without diluting or further diluted if you wish.

This high quality Attar Genda is prepared by using Hydro Distillation of Marigold flowers in pure Indian Sandalwood oil. Genda Attar is rarely heard of in the West. It's perfume is uniquely beautiful: very "green" and refreshing.

The Marigold flower symbolizes purity and steadfastness in love. For lovers of green, herbaceous fragrances. Inspires deep breathing. Genda Attar helps to open the lungs and encourage long, deep breathing, making it useful for Yoga and meditation! Emotionally, Genda Attar is deeply calming, fortifying and inspiring. There is an aura of mystery surrounding the Indian perfume known as Hina or Shamama. It is a rich, deep and intensely oriental fragrance much prized in India and the Middle East but relatively little known in the West.

Knowledge of the Shamama making process is a carefully guarded secret and has been portrayed, at best, as one in which a number of aromatic herbs, spices, roots, seeds, etc. have been combined and hyrdodistilled to produce the characteristically potent oriental fragrance.
