Description: Cognac Oil is derived from the same grapes used to produce Cognac (Brandy).

Colour: Pale yellow to greenish yellow

Common Uses: Used in flavors and perfumes in trace amounts to give 'lift' and fresh-fruity natural notes ie, colognes, after-shave fragrances. It also works well with tobacco related products.

Consistency: Medium to Viscous

Blends well with: Blends well with bergamot, coriander, galbanum, lavender (All), linalool (aromatic chemical used in the perfume and cologne industry), clary sage, and Ylang ylang.

Aromatic Scent: Cognac has a rich aroma reminiscent of an old wine barrel. It has fresh, vibrant fruit tones with a slight green, herbaceous note.

History:Cognac Oil is also known as 'Wine Lees Oil' or 'Weinhefeoel' in German. It is produced as a by-product of the distillation of Cognac (Brandy).

Always dilute to 5% or less before using on the skin.

Skin test all products before using. Apply a small amount, about a drop or less, to the skin on your inner arm. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs. Keep all essential oils, perfume oils and fragrance products away from eyes and mucous membranes. If any oil gets in the eye rinse with full fat milk. If stinging continues seek medical advice.
Essential oils are flammable, keep away from plastics and polished surfaces.
