The volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the dried flowering heads or whole plant of the herb. Sweet fruity herbaceous scent.
Chamomile Roman Essential Oil. A must for the first aid cabinet. Excellent for massage with children, soothes and calms. Well known for its strong soothing effect on mind & body. Useful at night and in stressful situations. Hair care tonic, especially for fair hair. A gentle oil suitable for the young & fragile. The Roman & German Chamomile are both excellent for protecting dry skin. Traditionally used as a muscle relaxant and skin conditioner. Roman chamomile is a comforting oil during high pollen count, (unless you have an allergy to the ragweeds).

Esters of angelic and tiglic acids, pinene, fanesol, nerolidol, chamazulene, pinocarvone, cineol among others.

Always dilute to 5% or less before using on the skin.
Skin test all products before using. Apply a small amount, about a drop or less, to the skin on your inner arm. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs. Keep all essential oils, perfume oils and fragrance products away from eyes and mucous membranes. If any oil gets in the eye rinse with full fat milk. If stinging continues seek medical advice.
